Talent Acquisition interview

The goal of our first interview is to get to know you, understand your expectations, motivational drivers and check administrative details. It's also your chance to learn more about the recruitment process, the company, the team and the position. So don't be shy, ask away!

Hiring manager interview

The interview with the hiring manager is a deeper dive into your experience, when you can expect more technical questions. The Hiring Manager will also be able to tell you further details about the role and provide information about the expectations of the team.

Technical assessment

In this phase you'll receive a case study. Our objective will be to evaluate your hard and soft skills according to the requirements needed for the position you're applying for.

Skip level interview

The goal of the final interview is to check that you are aligned with BlaBlaCar's values. You'll get a wider vision of the department and its strategy.

Getting ready for your interview

Here are tips from some of our recruiters to help you be prepared for your next interview.

Understand the role

First step of your interview preparation is to review the job description of the role you're applying to.  Highlight key information about the team, the company's mission, and the position's requirements, and relate them to your own experiences.

Research the company

It's always a good asset for a candidate to start the recruitment process well-informed.  Read about our products, what we have been doing, our principles and values. A good extra is to check out our Medium articles, YouTube videos and other platforms.

Practice makes perfect

It's important to practice your self-presentation. A good aim for the speech is to keep it simple, short and straight to the point. Make sure to test your set-up. Double check your internet connection and that you're in a calm place where you'll be able to concentrate on your interview.

Just be yourself

The best advice is simple: be yourself. Always be honest, stay curious throughout the hiring process and ask questions. The interview moment is also a chance for you to evaluate the opportunity and get to know us.
