There's never a dull moment at BlaBlaCar! Our offices buzz with a wide range of activities, from regular favorites like BlaBlaBreakfast and BlaBlaGarden, Pot Tech Afterworks to Yoga & Zumba classes. We also host special seasonal and quarterly events, such as our Spring Party and Back to School Party. There's always something exciting happening.
Once a year, we dedicate a full day to test our product around the globe and 'Be The Member'. Our teams hit the road as passengers or drivers and gather invaluable feedback to help our product team improve our carpool and bus services.
Be the Impact is a dynamic partnership between BlaBlaCar and Vendredi to allow all our employees to engage in volunteer work and create an impact during their working hours. On a global scale, our team members have the opportunity to collaborate with the Red Cross and support their vital humanitarian efforts. Additionally, at each local site, employees can work with local NGOs that they voted for.
Every 2 weeks, we organize a Welcome Day to welcome 'newbies' joining the company. The day is full of onboarding sessions and a Welcome Breakfast for new employees to get to know their managers, their teams, and fellow newbies. And, every 2 months, incoming newbies take part in Onboarding Weeks, where they get 2 weeks to mingle and understand the company's different aspects.
BlaBlaCar Rainbow aims to create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and equitable environment for the LGBTQIA+ community at BlaBlaCar through education & supportive actions in all company areas.
BlaBla Planet is our most recently formed ERG with the focus on sustainability in different aspects of the company. The goal is to reduce the ecological impact of our offices, increase awareness around sustainability, reduce the ecological impact of our operations, and measure and reduce the CO2 footprint of our IT.
Our employee resource group, Women & Supporters, aims to create a diverse, inclusive and equitable workplace for women and gender minorities at BlaBlaCar by building a trusted community, raising awareness on gender equality and obstacles women face in the workplace, and supporting their growth in the organization.
